This year I booked with Agoda at Astera Sathorn
Really good price, big room, small pentry (with kitchen), pool and gym:
All of it for about 370 SEK/night including double breakfast
It is also a minute walk from the BTS and a bit longer for the river boats.

I will try to relive some of what I have seen during the ten years since my first trip to LOS ... Like, the original Scandinavian Lanta Diver

Ulf and Maj-Britt got us right off from the plane in Phuket - and we did meet with them all the time, here at Noble House.

Diving? Yes, there will be some diving!
But Ill admit, it will be hard to top the trip in 2009 ... Whale Shark ;o)

There is a lot of writing on YouTube about how bad they are, and maybe that is true
but we never did see anyone hitting or otherwise behave badly against the Tigers!

 Night dive at East Of Eden and at Richelieu Rock, Hej Kusin!

Best diving was with Yay and a top day again at East Of Eden with a big turtle and then there was sunset.
Only bad thing, we had to relocate four people during the trip ... broken ear and bad heart is something you cant be too careful about.

Had some space and got Ulf a gigantic chocolate bar, + 2 kg made him almost go nuts ;o)
Then some shopping but NO whitening soap...
In Ban Saladan at Koh Lanta in 2009 I found 6 shops for glasses and contact lenses ... in one street!

Different kind of transportation, Lanta 1 and a tuk tuk from Trang (where all the cars are OLD and VERY well kept)

Where will I go? It is nice to use the BTS, and the MRT isnt bad either!

You can get a map of both when you enter there. Best price depending on how many days you stay.
Short stay, and going a lot? Buy a 24 hour card!
3 single one-way trips are about the same, make 4 and your 24 hour card is paid! 
Staying longer, go for a 30-day pass ... you put some money on the card and are able to use it during the next 30 days.
The card is worth 30 Baht and reusable on your next visit to Bangkok during 5 years!
The card uses RFID so it can stay in wallet ...  and remember, only 1 person/card!
You have to show it again when you exit the BTS!!!

You can walk between some of the stations above. Do remember that this is a warm place. You will cool down when going by BTS and it is the fastest way to go around the city!

Maybe a trip around Phuket - but walking the pier is hard work!

On the east side of the Island, well past Lanta Old Town,  where the road ends... take right up the hill and you will find a remote and well kept secret resort with tree houses!
Shen you get there, check out the signs - Monica and Bill has had a dedicated sign for a while -  I did not have ... he he he  ;o)

and I will watch the sun go down at Lanta Noble House Resort!

Shopping at Koh Lanta and in Bangkok
This is the shop where you will find that odd part you've been browsing for sooo long!
The really have everything, Christmas lights, flags, bults - you name it and you will find it!

Shopping in Bangkok around Sukhumvit?
Where is that minimart? 
Well, between Soi 2 and 4 out on Sukhumvit there is a well sorted Farmacy!
The Minmart on Soi 5 has a lot of nice things as well as the one in Soi 11.

The Post office close to BTS Nanan on the south side can send a package home and also wrap it in nice paper if you havent done that already. I usually send some of my laundry home ... its less money then paying Thai Airways for extra kilo ;o)

OK, POP QUIZ - the biggest of these are the one to the ?

Next question, are they dangerous for divers?

I am happy now and I will be even happier when I get to Thailand!
